Sunday last day

A wet start...but just fine mist by the time I ventured over the bridge to the main campus .

The first kiln to open was Joe Finch's

Scully's cousin?

Then the kiln made from recycled things.. including an old electric kiln...

I had a quick look at the small kilns on the patio..

But Euan Craig's kiln was the star. As is the man himself!!

And now after the final presentation

And now after the final presentation

Time to sit and think

And let the crowds thin out a little...the café is open for another couple of hours...I'll have an early supper in a little while.

I think I've done enough peopling for a while!!

And for Tigger's mum.....

More Clay and Fire

No bikes today, but daughter and co brought birthday cake after lunch as it was the Boys' birthday today! We all had a piece of twin#1's cake....lemon and ginger with white chocolate icing......I wonder if they will come with Twin#2's cake request tomorrow...dark chocolate and raspberry!! They are so lucky to have a dad who is good at baking!!

So, more kiln firing...

Watching in the great hall

A talk in the lecture theatre and a discussion in Welsh on Welsh ceramic traditions and futures.

Then the exhibition of the demonstrators' work, plus that of the MC Jim Robison from Holmfirth.

Quite a varied selection of styles and subjects, which is good.
There was a band playing in the bar later, which I found good listening to start with...but then it got louder...I was listening from outside the bar anyway!

I made the acquaintance of the Blog follower Widge... Nice to meet you!🙂
And made my way back over the bridgenoIamnotgoingtostophalfwayandtakeaphoto.......

Plenty of furry lawnmowers
And the student village
